September has been busy, and October is not slowing down.
We have BSides Atlanta, State of the A, our new hands-on compliance pipeline workshop, Atlanta Developers' Conference, BSides Augusta, and more already on the calendar. If you have been waiting for a good time to get more involved, this is it.
The GRC Engineering Club has also made that easier. Annual membership is now $70 per year, or about $5.83 per month.
That annual membership includes:
- hands-on labs;
- weekly live Q&A;
- club events at no additional cost; and
- every GRC Engineering Academy certification.
Atlanta chapter participation is still free. You do not need a paid membership to join the local community, attend eligible chapter events, or contribute to what we are building here. The annual membership is an option for people who want deeper access to the broader club's training, events, and certification resources.
Club founder AJ Yawn shared why keeping that access affordable matters:

That grassroots piece matters to us in Atlanta. The chapter gets stronger when people do more than watch from the sidelines: show up to an event, ask a question, share what you are learning, build something, or help another practitioner get unstuck.
