Task 1 of 5
Day 2: Did This Actually Work?
Run a simulated access-control check, read what the system reports, and decide what that output does and does not prove for assurance.
Tuesday
It’s Tuesday. Yesterday went better than expected.
This morning, an engineer sends you a message: “Can you run the access-control check before we close this review? Send me the result when you’re done.”
They include one instruction: npm run test:access. You’ve never done this before.
Run the Test
The engineer’s message includes a single line you are supposed to run.
Type it exactly in the practice window below. When it matches, the simulated output will appear.
Before the vocabulary lesson, note what you think the computer was asked to do and what you think happened.
Practice mode: Type this command yourself. Paste is disabled for this exercise.
Target command: npm run test:access
